Weird Al Yancovic Releases Two Great Parodies

Weird Al released two gems this week in support of his new album Mandatory Fun.  Both videos are below.

His take on Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines is called Word Crimes is long overdue.  There’s even a mention of the Oxford Comma.  Love that comma.

A day earlier Weird Al released Tacky, his parody of Pharell Williams’ Happy.  This might be better than the original.  Lyrics are hysterical.

It might seem crazy, wearing stripes and plaid
I instagram every meal I’ve had
All my used liquor bottles are on display
We can go to see a show but I’ll make you pay

[Chorus:]
(because I’m tacky)
Wear my belt with suspenders and sandals with my socks
(because I’m tacky)
