A Fan’s View: Weekend 10/24-10/27

World Series baseball is great, but I’m sick of seeing the Marlins fan in orange behind homeplate.

The Giants can stay competitive after winning the World Series, but the Phillies cannot. One word, Ruben.

Phoenix is the 3rd loudest stadium? That place sounded ordinary.  The loudest cheer seem to come from Eagles fans after a fumble call was reversed in their favor.

University of Phoenix Stadium? It’s weak playing in a stadium named after a university with no physical campus.

Ronde Barber and Chris Myers blow as football announcers.  Ronde Barber went two or three plays at the end of the first quarter without making a comment.  He might be a graduate of the Eric Snow School of Sleeping…I mean Broadcasting.

I love Cody Parkey.

Netflix browsing for titles sucks.  The app Instant Watcher has every title available and is way easier to find movies.

I thought I liked Bruce Arians….I don’t.

The Flyers beat the Penguins and the Red Wings. Go figure.  Guess they didn’t get the Connor McDavid/Jack Eichel memo.

Did the Gatorade on Maclin’s uniform dry up to act as stick’em on his uniform?

Madison Bumgarner is a clutch stud.

Nick Foles is looking to be an average QB.  Can’t proclaim it until we see him behind a starting NFL line, but for now….eh.

How was the Polk spot not challenged?

Way too many penalties.

Roughing the passer calls were weak, even in the Eagles favor.
