Parks on Tap: Jefferson Square

Parks on Tap hits Jefferson Square at 400 Washington Avenue (4th & Wash) this weekend. As an earlier article discussed, PoT sets up a pop-up beer garden with good food in city-owned parks throughout the summer.

If you need more reason to check out the garden, rumor is that the event generates money to fix up the parks. That’s like guilt-free drinking because you’re drinking for a good cause.

If you’re in South Philly stop by. It’s like drinking in the park when you were a teenager, but now it’s legal and with good beers and not Michelob.

We stopped by to check the jawn out and took a few pictures. The shorts had to make it…instant classics. We can’t guarantee they’ll be there when you visit, though.
