A Day in Jawnville: West Philly Porchfest 2017

Saturday was a perfect day in West Philly as the 2nd annual West Philly Porchfest was a monumental success. What is Porchfest? Basically, it’s like Lollapalooza, but instead of different stages there are different porches. This year there was over 70 porches throughout West Philly that had over 100 bands playing live throughout the day. It’s the ultimate DIY music festival brought together by some talented and dedicated volunteers.

Porchfest has worked itself into a Top 10 annual Philly event. What’s better than wandering the streets of West Philly with friends and listening to all kinds of talented Philly artists/bands? Oh, it’s free to attend and anyone can play. Love all around!
